Full description
- Join us on one of the tastiest trips!
- Georgian cuisine is as diverse as its landscape. Khinkali is a national meal of Georgia and an absolute must-try once here. The short story says khinkali originated in the rugged mountains to the north of Tbilisi, where people in the Tusheti and Pshavi regions both claim to have invented it. Nowadays, every region makes it with its own twist.
- I want you very hungry. Here we Go! First, I’ll invite you to a well-known place specializing in serving khinkali. Rather hidden boho brick-lined basement on the Mtatsminda hillside, but once youβve been here youβre likely to keep coming back, as for these khinkali are some of Tbilisiβs best. The thin dough and delicious fillings are super simple but utterly mouth-watering, and you will be able to try Georgian wines made in traditional and European ways.
- For the next, I will take you to the place which was invented by customers’ request. The design cafe was serving khinkali only on Sundays, and the people who tried it considered it the World’s best. Finally, the cafe and its khinkali were separated and World’s best Khinkali serves every day.
- In the end, we go to the place where we can create the khinkali for our taste, try a Soup of Khinkali cooked with wine and fresh herbs, and finish our crawl with a Khinkali dessert made by Nuttela and cherry. Vegetarian varieties are Wonderful too.
